Plotline

In order to rescue a planet with a failing nuclear reactor, installed by the Vulcans prior to the existence of the prime directive, Pike, Chapel, La'An and Uhura change into Vulcans. The work on the reactor occurs very efficiently, however, when it comes time to change back the serum fails to work. Leaving the four of them stuck as Vulcans.
