Operator of a space station on the edge of the Nekrit expanse, Bahrat was a gruff character who spent much of his time monitoring the residents for signs of illegal activity - with limited success. He attempted to jail Paris and Chakotay for the murder of Sutok, but thanks to Tuvok's investigation realised that the death was a result of the considerable illegal activity on the station. [1]
