Ruby was the owner of a bar near to the NX test vessel base in the 2140s. She was on speaking terms with many of the pilots from the program who frequented the bar. Ruby claimed that she had picked out the names of her future children as a child, and would marry the first man who guessed which she had chosen. [1]
