A Starfleet officer, al-Khaled was a member of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers and part of the crew of the USS Lovell in 2265. He was one of the Engineers who returned to Erilon after the USS Endeavour's encounter with a hostile alien entity there. [1] He returned to Erilon again in 2265 for further research into the Shedai technology there. [2]
