Adopted father of Worf, Sergey struggled to cope with the difficulties of raising a Klingon child. He was an ex-Starfleet enlisted man, and was intensely proud of his son's own service aboard the Enterprise-D - Sergey even had all the specs and diagrams of the ship at home. [2] Sergey and his wife Helena took custody of Worf's son Alexander after K'Ehlyr was killed by Duras in 2367. [3] However, they returned Alexander to Worf in 2368 because he was having a difficult time fitting in to Human society. [4]
