A Triannon, Yarrick was a soldier under D'Jamat in their people's civil war. He was part of the force which captured the NX-01 in 2153, hoping to use the ship to finally win the war. Yarrick had doubts about D'Jamat's leadership because of the fanatical nature of his beliefs, and chose to ally himself with Captain Archer and assist him in retaking the ship.
