Prime Minister of Mariposa, like his whole planet's population Granger was a clone of one of the original five colonists. He tried to deal with the problem of replicative fading in the cloning process by stealing tissue samples from crewmembers of the Enterprise-D, but this was unsuccessful. Granger ultimately accepted the Bringloidi onto his world as breeding stock. [1]
