A resident of the Delta Quadrant, Caylem's wife was killed by the Mokra Order prior to 2360. His daughter was also killed by the order, leaving Caylem so distraught that he became mentally unbalanced. When Captain Janeway was stranded on the planet, Caylem helped her plan the rescue of her own officer from the Order. The attempt was successful, though Caylem was killed during the mission. [1]
