The leader of a group of Deuterium miners encountered by the NX-01 in 2152, Tessic had previously favoured a policy of surrender towards the Klingon marauders who had been stealing his group's output for the last five seasons. Archer convinced Tessic to stand up to the Klingons and he was successful in driving them off. [1]
