A Human Starfleet officer, Timothy was an acquaintance of Captain Kirk, having been in the same graduating class with him. He met Kirk during their time on the Vulcanian expedition. The two encountered one another at Starbase 11 in 2267; Timothy expressed his displeasure with Kirk over the apparent death of Ben Finney due to negligence on Kirk's part. [1]
