In 2261 Trelane visited Starbase 1 and caused a mass delusion in order to have a wedding between Spock and Chapel. Trelane first appears to Spock as a Vulcan bartender. He later appeared as an Andorian wedding planner who organised the wedding. Eventually, Trelane's father turned up and put things right, taking Trelane away with him. [2]

One of the most peculiar beings encountered by the crew of the NCC 1701 Enterprise, Trelane had an ability to manipulate matter and energy on an enormous scale. Yet despite his great power, he was merely a child who possessed no sense of responsibility for his actions. He caused Kirk and the Enterprise considerable trouble until his parents finally arrived to take him in hand. [1]
