An Annari soldier, Geral offered to help Voyager when the ship landed for a refit on a planet located in his people's space. He was a pleasant man who was friendly to the crew, but his attitude changed drastically when he was informed that Harry Kim had lent assistence to a Kraylor ship being attacked as part of a conflict between the two species.
