The administrator of a Dinaali hospital, Chellick was an expert at resource management. He rationed medical care to patients according to their percieved value to society, frequently refusing treatment to those whom he deemed as lacking such value. In 2377, he purchased stolen EMH program from Gar and forced him to work in the hospital. Distressed by Chellick's ethical system, the EMH made every attempt to treat those whom Chellick regarded as expendable. The EMH ultimately infected Chellick with a virus and programmed the hospital computer to classify him as an expendable patient. To save himself Chellick allowed all such patients to be treated. [1]
