A Nygean, Garon was one of those who became trapped in a subspace anomaly in 2377. He was the first to join the alliance created by Captain Janeway, and helped to develop the polaron modulator technology which the alliance used. Garon escaped the anomaly along with the rest of the alliance. [1]
