A Tholian, Hirskene was the commanding officer of the battle cruiser Aen’q Tholis. In 2265 his ship was ordered into the Taurus Reach, known to the Tholians as the Shedai Sector. The assignment made him nervous, since the sector was a taboo area to the Tholians. Hirskene was killed when his ship was destroyed by the Romulan vessel Bloodied Talon shortly after entering the reach. [1]
