Lady Lukara was a Klingon female, she was the beloved of Kahless the Unforgettable, however, she rejected him. It was only after they together withstood the attack of 500 warriors at the Great Hall at Qam-Chee she agreed to marry him. This is still considered to be the greatest romance in Klingon history. [1]Immediately after the two were married, soldiers loyal to Molor attacked the couple and nearly killed them both. This incident was later commemorated in a Klingon Opera. Since then Klingon marriage rites have included a ceremonial attack on the bride and groom by guests armed with Ma'Stakas. [2]
