A member of the Terra Nova colony, Nadet was born about the time the Conestoga arrived at the planet. She survived the asteroid impact which occurred shortly afterwards and lived most of her life underground. Nadet developed lung cancer by 2151 because of the ecological damage done by the asteroid, and despite some misgivings she agreed to be relocated to the southern hemisphere with the rest of her people.
