A Starfleet officer, Lieutenant Nave was a communications officer aboard the USS Bombay. She was on duty when the ship engaged with a fleet of six Tholian cruisers in orbit of Ravanar IV, and was killed with the rest of the crew when her ship was destroyed. [1]
