A Ferengi, Daimon Nunk led an effort to steal nanoprobes from Seven of Nine in 2377. He sent a hologram of Lieutenant Barclay to the ship with a technology that would allow it to return; unknown to the crew the trip would kill them all, allowing Nunk to recover the nanoprobes afterwards. [1]
