Encountered by the Enterprise crew in 2266, Zavanko was one of several aliens stranded on the surface of Krall's planet, Altamid, after Krall's drone fleet destroyed his ship. When Scotty crash-landed on the planet after the destruction of the Enterprise, Zavanko attacked him before being driven off by Jaylah. [1]
