A Starfleet officer, Kayden was a crewmember on the USS Rutledge in 2362, when the ship responded to the Setlik III massacre. Kayden was a close friend of Chief O'Brien - Captain Maxwell would later say that he followed O'Brien around "like a puppy". He was often known by his nickname, Stompie. Kayden enjoyed singing the song "The Minstrel Boy to the War has Gone", which was a favourite of Maxwell's. [1]Kayden was killed by the Cardassians on Setlik III. [1]
