A revered Vulcan Ambassador, V'lar was something of an idol of T'Pol. She negotiated the first territorial accords between Vulcan and Andoria. T'Pol met V'Las at the Ka'Tann conference; the Ambassdor was impressed with the bluntness of her questions. In the 2150s V'Lar was part of an operation to gather information on corrupt officials in the Mazarite government. As part of the plan she agreed to be accused of misconduct so that her credibility would apparently be damaged. A Mazarite force attacked the NX-01 whilst it was taking her back to Vulcan in 2152, but was unsuccessful in preventing her escape. [1]
