A slavemaster for the Tholians, Slar was in charge of the workers who were dismantling the USS Defiant in 2155. He hid in the ship's crawlways after Archer captured the ship, ordering the slaves not to reveal his identity. Although he was able to sabotage the Defiant for a while, Archer was able to defeat him using enhanced gravity plates to immobilise him. Archer subsequently shot Slar several times. [1]
