Father to Commander William Riker, Kyle abandoned his son at the age of fifteen. The two did not speak again until 2365, when Kyle was to brief Will concerning a command which had been offered him by Starfleet. The two managed something of a reconciliation during the meeting. Kyle met Dr. Pulaski once when he was injured during a Tholian attack on a Starbase; she later commented that she would have gladly married him. [1]
