A Halarnan, Nidell was wife to Professor Seyetik. She was deeply unhappy with her marriage, but since Halarnans mate for life exclusively she was unable to leave him. By 2370 she was so unhappy with the situation that her telepathic abilities began projecting an alternate personality, Fenna, whilst Nidell was unconscious. The situation deteriorated to a point where it became life threatening, prompting Professor Seyetik to commit suicide in order to free Nidell of her marriage. [1]
